Internet now working reasonably well after 3 days of so ponderously slow it timed out trying to test the server's speed.

Still not wonderful speed, but better. Except now facebook is down. Why do I even try over there?

I'm learning to love my new HP Pavilion laptop. I'm indifferent to Win8. It does what I need it to do. If I were going to get fancy I might actually have problems. Biggest grumble? We apologize. The server crashed. I heard something about Texas and Tornadoes. Not sure of the cause.

I haven't been able to get onto LJ for a couple of days. I kept getting a 500 error. Still tracking down if it's something in the Toshiba settings or LJ. The netbook took its own sweet time about it but did connect eventually.

Did I miss anything important?

Sometime yesterday the Book View Cafe crashed and we lost a lot of blogs.
